It’s Official! This New Google OS Fuchsia Will Run Android Apps

Google currently has two operating systems, first, the most used mobile operating system, Android and the second one is the well-known ChromeOS which is basically used in Chromebooks.

Now according to the latest reports, soon Google will launch its next-generation operating system, Fuchsia. And not only that, as along with its third year of development, Fuchsia may replace Android.

However, the most interesting thing about Fuchsia OS is that it will have support for Android apps and it has been confirmed by Fuchsia itself. This means that the transformation of the current scene will be progressive, without any disturbances.

In short, the all-new Fuchsia OS will be able to run virtually each and every application currently, that you have on your Android smartphone. However, let me clarify that both systems are part of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP).

Being that it already contains a pre-built version of the Fuchsia SDK, the kit used to develop apps for this new operating system. Hence, it was believed that this should be used to emulate the Android apps on the all-new Fuchsia operating system.

The all-new Fuchsia operating system is being fully developed from scratch by the tech giant Google. All this in order to evade some of the current limitations of Android.

An interesting thing is that Huawei will be one of the first to test the Fuchsia OS. And not only that Fuchsia OS can be simply used in both smartphones and computers.

Huawei is testing this new Fuchsia OS in its own smartphone, Honor Play which is powered by the Kirin 970 processor, its one of the current flagship SoC that guarantees top performance. However, for now, we do not have any date for the presentation of the final version of this new operating system, hence, to know more simply we have to wait. So, what do you think about this?
